Except, she lives the floor above me. Same room number. It’s literally less than 100 feet to walk downstairs to my room.
But she’s always too busy for me. Homework and stuff. I won’t begrudge her scholastic success, but I just want to cuddle.

Go up to her room instead! You could try and be there even if she’s working, at the very least.
I’ve done that, but then she never finishes her work.
